1) When full, all six courts are 4 on 4 off with paddles put next to the net post. 2) If only two paddles are present, the winners stay on. 3) The court closest to the entry gate is the most competitive court and potentially will evolve into a challenge court where the winners stay on. 4) No chairs allowed on the brand new dedicate pickleball courts. Four benches are provided. 5) Each Saturday at 10:00 am and 11:30 am, Joseph “Joe” Mui (slpickleballers@gmail.com), who is the San Leandro Pickleball Ambassador, runs free “Intro to Pickleball” instructional classes on 2 of the 6 courts. Each class is 90 minutes. Once a person emails Joe, they will get on a list and get invites via https://playtimescheduler.com 6) Lights automatically turn off at 8:00 pm each evening. 7) The City of San Leandro is looking to upgrade the current lighting system to a full LED system. Date is TBD. 8) The City of San Leandro is looking to install windscreens around the pickleball courts. Date is TBD.
